Welcome to Simmern!

Simmern is the district town of the Rhein-Hunsrueck district. Almost 8,000 people live in the 1,200 hectare area of the small town. Since Simmern was already inhabited in Roman times, many eras shaped the charm of the country idyll. The residents of Simmern feel connected to their homeland, nature and the people who live here.  They are sociable and curious, appreciate delicious food and have not lost the ability to enjoy consumption despite everyday life.
