The Protestant St. Stephen’s Church is a late Gothic church and is known beyond the borders of the Hunsrueck for its numerous grave monuments of the Dukes of Palatinate-Simmern. The foundation stone for the construction of St. Stephen’s Church was laid in 1486. To this day, the church tower forms the silhouette of Simmern.
